HARVEST REPORT

Gusbourne is pleased to announce that the 2015 harvest was successfully completed on

the 25th of October.

The quality of the grapes has been excellent, with optimum levels of natural sugar and

acidity, both of which meet our own exacting quality standards. Yield volumes have

been good and in line with expectations. Good weather at flowering in June went some way to ensure a good yield of even ripeness.

The onset of harvest was delayed due to below average temperature and sunshine hours in August and September; however fair weather in October helped the grapes to ripen to the desired level of maturity. The high quality of grapes harvested this year bodes well for 2015 becoming another great vintage for Gusbourne.

As in previous years, our harvest is dependent on the local community and we remain

grateful to the regular contingent of local residents who have once more helped to hand pick our grapes.

Despite a somewhat delayed harvest this has been an excellent year at Gusbourne, which will add to our inventories of premium sparkling wine for future sale once the wine has been through our careful production and extended lees ageing processes."
