GUS PLC01 September 2006 GUS plc ("THE COMPANY") DIRECTOR/PDMR SHAREHOLDING GUS plc has received notification of the following transactions in its Ordinaryshares by Don Robert (a director of the Company): On 30 August 2006, Mr Robert exercised options in respect of 145,196 shares inthe Company. The options were granted in June 2003 at a price of 675.5p pershare under the Company's North America Stock Option Plan. Following thisexercise, Mr Robert immediately sold these shares on the London Stock Exchangeat a price of 970.1307p per share. On 30 August 2006, Mr Robert sold a further 77,374 shares in the Company on theLondon Stock Exchange at a price of 969.0291p per share.
