Goldenport Holdings Inc01 November 2007 Goldenport Holdings Inc. Athens, 1st November 2007 Board Changes Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) theinternational shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of dry bulk andcontainer vessels, is today delighted to announce the strengthening of its Boardthrough the appointment of Captain Epameinondas Logothetis as an independentNon-Executive director. Captain Logothetis has over 50 years of shipping experience, with a focus invessel management and ship-owning activities. Captain Logothetis started hiscareer as an Officer and Master in ocean-going vessels. He first engaged in ship-owning activities in 1969 and in 1974 he founded Karlog Shipping Co., hisfamily owned shipping company in which he remains the Chairman. There are no details to be disclosed in connection with Rule 9.6.13 (1)-(6) ofthe Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority in relation to this appointment. The Company also wishes to announce that Mr. Andreas Karaindros, Non-Executivedirector, will be stepping down from the Board in due course. Andreas has beenon the Board since the Company's admission to the Main Market of the LondonStock Exchange on 5 April 2006. Both of the above changes affect the composition of the different committees ofthe Board of directors. Upon successfully completing her studies, she commenced hercareer in the Maritime Industry in 2002. Since the Company's admission she hasbeen supporting Mr. Christos Varsos in his Company Secretarial duties.
