Exclusive Arrangement with NHS-owned Support Services Group

Filta Group Holdings PLC (AIM: FLTA), a provider of fryer management and other services to the catering and hospitality sector, is pleased to announce that it has secured an exclusive licencing agreement with NTH Solutions ("NTH"), a support services group wholly owned by North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust, to utilise its hypochlorous acid ("HOCI") based broad-spectrum disinfectant, along with NHS accredited training, as part of the Filta Sanitation Service, which is helping businesses and organisations fight against the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The HOCI-based product, produced on site by NTH, is able to quickly disinfect surfaces, including killing the COVID-19 virus, without the need to evacuate a room or the need for extensive use of PPE, as it is non-corrosive and is non-harmful to humans. This makes it an ideal option for customers in a wide range of sectors from office blocks and schools through to commercial kitchens and restaurants.

Under the exclusive agreement, which formally commenced on 1 September 2020, Filta employees will be fully trained by NHS decontamination experts and will have exclusive rights to both sell the products and provide training for customers in NHS best practices for proper use of the disinfectants. Filta staff will conduct initial cleans at sites and will then ensure that these sites are sufficiently trained/certified and prepared to continue the cleaning regime.

Filta will be considered an authorised, exclusive partner to the NHS' wholly owned subsidiary, NTH, and will be able to display the NHS logo where appropriate. Filta customers that take on this service will be registered within an online database of certified sites and will be permitted to display certificates on location with NHS, NTH & Filta branding, subject to regular (3 monthly) inspections and swab testing at sites.

The exclusivity rights under the agreement will run for an initial six months, with an option to extend for a further six months depending on performance. Given that this relationship is at an early stage, no conclusions have been drawn as to its financial impact on the Company and, at this time, there is no material change to the Company's financial condition or performance as a result of this agreement. Further updates will made as appropriate.
