Directorate changes Fidessa group plc is pleased to announce the appointment of John Worby as anon-executive director and member of the audit, remuneration and nominationscommittees with effect from 1st May 2014. John is a chartered accountant who has had a highly successful executive careerand is an experienced non-executive director. In 2013 he retired as GroupFinance Director of Genus Plc, having previously been Group Finance Directorand Deputy Chairman at Uniq Plc (formerly Unigate Plc). John is the SeniorIndependent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Smiths News plc,where he has been a non-executive director since 2006. He is also the SeniorIndependent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Cranswick Groupplc, where he has been non-executive director since 2005. John is a member ofthe Financial Reporting Review Panel. As mentioned in the 2013 Annual Report, Philip Hardaker has informed the Boardthat he intends to step down as a non-executive director and Chairman of theAudit Committee during 2014, following the appointment and handover to hissuccessor. John Worby will succeed Philip as Chairman of the Audit Committeewhen Philip steps down on 31st July 2014. Philip has helped to guide Fidessathrough substantial growth. Also, I am delighted to welcome John to the boardof Fidessa. There were no other directorships held by John during the last five years. There are no other disclosures required in respect of John Worby pursuant toRule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
