Nomad status

EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), the AIM quoted technology solution company for waste gasification to energy projects, announces that the Directors have been advised by its current nominated adviser ("Nomad"), Northland Capital Partners Limited ("Northland") of its proposed merger with SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP ("SP Angel"). Northland has voluntarily agreed to relinquish its Nomad status and will be removed from the register of Nomads with effect from 7am on 1 February 2019.

As a result, the Directors are in discussions with another Nomad and at present the Company anticipates a smooth and orderly transition of the Nomad role and will provide a further update as soon as practicable.

In accordance with AIM Rule 1, if the Company fails to appoint a new Nomad by 1 February 2019 the Exchange will suspend trading in the Company's AIM Securities and in the event that the Company has failed to appoint a replacement Nomad by 4 March 2019 the admission of its AIM Securities will be cancelled.

EQTEC's business model involves sourcing and providing assistance in developing waste elimination projects to which it will ultimately sell its EQTEC Gasifier Technology ("EGT") and O&M services. EGT enables project developers to construct waste elimination plants and recover electrical and thermal energy from the waste streams.

EQTEC sources projects that have a local supply of waste in need of elimination and conversion. It builds relationships and brings together the developers, the waste owners, the building contractors and funders. It then supplies the energy recovery technology and provides engineering services to the projects.
