Earthport PLC31 March 2005 Press announcement 31 March 2005 earthport plc ("earthport" or "Company) Appointment of Managing Director and Commercial Director earthport plc, the electronic payment services company, announces today theappointment of Calum Cunningham as Managing Director and Nick Dunlop asCommercial Director of earthport plc. They are expected to join the Board indue course. As Managing Director, Calum Cunningham, no relation to Rob Cunningham, will bein charge of the operational business of the group. Prior to joining earthport,Calum (44) was Group Chief Operating Officer at Digitalbrain PLC, Europe'slargest supplier of knowledge management systems to the education sector,between 2002 and 2004, where he led the successful commercial negotiation of a£2.5m public sector contract, reduced losses of £3m to breakeven, increased corerevenues by 80% and increased revenue per employee in excess of 100%. From 1993to 2002, Calum worked at Intel in a variety of international roles. During thistime he won an Intel International Achievement Award in 1997, which resulted inhim being selected to set up a new subsidiary, Intel Performance LearningSystems, with seed capital of $500,000 to create new strategic value for theparent company. After three years with Calum as Managing Director, IntelPerformance Learning Systems generated revenues of £10m. As Commercial Director, Nick Dunlop will manage the interaction of the Companywith clients, joint venture partners, distributors and agents and any otherparty from whom the Company expects to generate revenues.
