Earthport, the cross-border payments service provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mohit Davar as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Mohit (42) has over 16 years of experience in the payments sector. He has extensive hands on experience of setting up and leading global teams and operations and managing relationships with banks/financial institutions and regulators at the senior most level. He has been involved in two significant start-ups in the money transfer industry, firstly in 1997 he helped form the Joint Venture between MoneyGram and Thomas Cook and took the position of CFO and then went on to become the CEO until 2003, when this was sold back to MoneyGram. He then set up Travelex Money Transfer in 2003, which was acquired by Coinstar Inc. in May 2006. Mohit then went on to create another successful global money transfer company which was recently sold to Sigue Corporation in June 2011. Mohit is now on the Board/adviser to various payment companies.

Prior to MoneyGram he worked at Thomas Cook Corporate Finance and Sedgwick Plc.

Mohit is also the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the International Association of Money Transfer Networks. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Mohit Davar has been awarded 750,000 options with an exercise price of 25p which vest over two and a half years. In addition to his Non-Executive Director duties, Mohit will, as a consultant to the business, actively support the Management Team.

Save for the above, there is no further information that is required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies, with respect to the appointment Mohit Davar.
