Please find below anannouncement from earthport concerning an update on its discussions relating tothe takeover of Baltimore Technologies plc. 28 January 2005 earthport plc Baltimore update earthport ("earthport" or "the Company") has noted the announcement made byBaltimore Technologies plc ("Baltimore") on 24 January 2005. In respect of the Application for an Order against earthport for Security ofCosts to be heard on 1 February 2005, because of the investment received andirrevocably committed, the Company has no need to contest the Application and isfully able to provide adequate financial security. Furthermore, the Company intends to fully comply with the Court Order forproduction of further particulars and evidence in relation to its Particulars ofClaim.
