Electra Investment Trust PLC03 October 2005 Electra Investment Trust PLC - Portfolio Update3 October 2005 Electra Investment Trust PLC ("Electra") announces that as at 30 September 2005,its ten largest investments were: HBOS Treasury Floating Rate Notes Barclays Bank Floating Rate Notes Capital Safety Group European Investment Bank Floating Rate Notes UK Rail Floating Rate Notes Inchcape Shipping Services Allflex Abbey National Floating Rate Notes Nationwide Floating Rate Notes Alliance & Leicester Floating Rate Notes Electra's financial year ended on 30 September 2005. The net asset value pershare at that date will be announced when the Preliminary Results are issued andwill reflect the revaluation of the unlisted portfolio at 30 September 2005 andon-market purchases for cancellation of Electra's shares during the year. The list of investments shown above was calculated on the basis of the assetvaluation at 31 March 2005 adjusted to reflect completed purchases and sales ofinvestments, currency movements and mid market values in respect of listedinvestments and unlisted investments where these are valued by reference toquoted prices. This list includes all investments with a value greater than 5% of Electra'sgross assets at 30 September 2005. This announcement was made in accordance with the Listing Rule 15.4.10 (2) whichrequires, inter alia, UK listed investment companies to notify to a RegulatoryInformation Service, within two business days of the end of each quarter, a listof all investments with a value greater than 5% of the company's gross assetsand at least the company's ten largest investments as at the last business dayof that quarter.
