Elegant Hotels Group plc (LON: EHG), the owner and operator of seven upscale freehold hotels and a beachfront restaurant on the island of Barbados, notes the announcement made today by Conviviality Plc ("Conviviality"), an AIM listed company, that it has appointed Matthew Callaghan, Ian Green and David Baxendale of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to act as its joint administrators.

David Adams, a non-executive director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of Elegant Hotels Group plc, is executive chairman of Conviviality (having been appointed to this executive role on 19th March 2018) and this announcement is being made by Elegant Hotels pursuant to AIM Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g)(iii) to (viii) of the AIM Rules for information purposes only.
