Edita Food Industries - Announcement on Dividend Distribution

In light of the resolution adopted at the Ordinary General Meeting of Edita Food Industries SAE convened on Monday, March 30, 2020 approving the proposed profit distribution, the Company announces that the dividend distribution announcement approved by Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) will be published in the newspapers on April 7 2020. Set out below a summary of the details of the distribution announcement:

It is worth noting that the Company's Board of Directors meeting held on 5/4/2020 approved the purchase of 14,507,258 shares, which is equal to 2% of the total outstanding shares of the Company as treasury shares. Accordingly, the coupon value may increase with the number of treasury shares purchased during the period prior to the disbursement of the coupon, noting that we will announce the final value of the coupon and with the existing number of treasury shares on 16/4/2020 the latest. We shall stop the purchase of treasury shares by 15/4/2020 and resume the purchase process on 22/4/2020.
