Echo Energy plc, the Latin American focused upstream oil and gas company, makes the following notification in accordance with the requirements of the Market Abuse Regulation in relation to the participation of Fiona MacAulay, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, in the Echo placing and subscription to raise £8.5 million announced earlier today.
As announced earlier today, Fiona MacAulay subscribed for 83,333 new ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 12.0 pence per ordinary share under the placing and subscription. As a result of this purchase of ordinary shares, Fiona MacAulay is now interested in a total of 226,099 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.05% of the Company's enlarged issued ordinary share capital, as enlarged by the issue of the Placing Shares.
