Directorate Changes
Devro, one of the world's leading manufacturers of collagen products for the food industry, announces the appointment of Chantal Cayuela to the Board as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2021. Chantal will also become a member of the Audit Committee, the Executive Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Committee from that date.
Chantal currently leads the R&D and Innovation team for Kellogg's European business, where she has been a Vice President since 2018. In a broad-ranging, international, career working with global food manufacturers, she has helped to shape their commercial strategies through product innovation. Her career includes a period of over sixteen years working in a variety of roles at Danone through which she developed considerable expertise in the successful delivery of customer-focused innovation. She subsequently spent seven years leading the Group Bel's research, innovation and development during which time her leadership of, and approach to, product innovation played a pivotal role in reinvigorating the brand, enabling the business to grow beyond its traditional core cheese markets. Chantal is a French national and she holds a doctorate in Biotechnology Chemical Engineering Sciences.
Devro also announces that Dr Paul Withers, non-executive director, will retire from the Board on 31 December 2020. Consequently, from 1 January 2021, Lesley Jackson will become the Company's Senior Independent Director.

Nothing in connection with Chantal's appointment falls to be disclosed under LR 9.6.13.
