Total Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with Regulation 20 of the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007, Dragon Oil today announces the following:

As at 31 March 2012, Dragon Oil's issued share capital consisted of 511,191,110 ordinary shares (with a par value of 0.10 euro each) with voting rights.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Dragon Oil is 511,191,110.

This information may be used by shareholders for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Dragon Oil plc under the Transparency (Directive 2004/109/EC) Regulations 2007 and the Transparency Rules.
