Destiny Pharma plc (AIM: DEST) a clinical stage innovative biotechnology company focused on the development of novel medicines that can prevent life threatening infections, announces that it was notified on 29 April 2021 that on that same day, Nick Rodgers, Chairman of the Company, purchased 1,511 Ordinary Shares at a price of 148.7p per Ordinary Share. Following the transaction his total beneficial interest is 53,973 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.09% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
The above purchase of shares is pursuant to the award of a 2020 bonus to Mr. Rodgers, payable in Destiny Pharma shares (on a net of tax basis). The bonus is payable in two equal tranches following the announcement of the Company' 2020 annual results and 2021 interim results.
