Charles Taylor plc appoints Tamer Ozmen as non-executive director

Charles Taylor plc is pleased to announce that Tamer Ozmen has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 29 June 2017. Tamer will join the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees with effect from the same date.

Tamer Ozmen is an accomplished technology professional with over 20 year's senior management experience. Tamer currently runs Microsoft UK Services, which supports UK customers to digitally transform themselves and works with them to disrupt their business models to achieve more. Prior to joining Microsoft UK, Tamer was Managing Director of Microsoft Turkey over 5 years. During his tenure, the Turkish subsidiary transformed itself into one the fastest growing subsidiaries within Microsoft.

Tamer started his career at Priceline.com in the US as part of the company's very first group of employees, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Product Development; he was part of the team that conceptualized the model and launched the company. Tamer later moved to Europe to start Priceline Europe in London. Tamer went on to become the Group Vice President for Online at Orange/France Telecom, running Orange's Online Division based in UK.
