Directorate Changes

Redstone plc, (AIM:RED) the IT company providing network-based end to end managed services to the UK mid market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Alexander McGregor Ramsay as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from Monday 18 October 2010.

Tim Sherwood, Non-Executive Director has stepped down from the board to pursue other interests. Redstone would like to thank him for his years of service to the company.

Richard (age 60) is a highly experienced director with a strong track record in delivering growth, project direction and maximising profitability over 35 years. During this time he spent 10 years as a director of Hill Samuel before being recruited by Barclays De Zoete Wedd, where, latterly, he worked closely with the Corporate Finance Division's CEO and management team to achieve 33% growth worldwide. He has since held various directorships, amongst which Aberdeen Football Club, at which he helped grow profits by 30%. More recently, he was a director at Intelli Corporate Finance and prior to that held the position of Managing Director, Regulation and Financial Affairs at Ofgem. He is currently a director at The Shareholder Executive.

Ian Smith, Executive Chairman, commented: "We are delighted that Richard is joining the Redstone Board. He brings with him a great deal of experience in corporate finance, project direction and business expansion, which will complement the board's existing skill set."

Richard Ramsay has held the following directorships over the past five years:

Richard was a director of Edinburgh Inca Trust plc which in May 2001 completed a recommended scheme of reconstruction leading to a members' voluntary liquidation.
