Share Allotment and Total Voting Rights
On 13 December 2012, the Company allotted 1,875 new ordinary shares of 10p each ('New Ordinary Shares') to a former employee following the exercise of options held under the Company's Share Save Scheme. The options were exercised at a price of 40 pence per share.
An application has been for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares of 10p each ('Ordinary Shares') and are to be admitted to trading as soon as is practicable.
In conformity with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the above allotment, the Company's issued share capital consists of 41,401,670 Ordinary Shares. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in Treasury.
The figure of 41,401,670 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
