Appointment of Non-Executive Director

TClarke plc ("TClarke" or the "Company"), the Building Services Group, is pleased to announce that Jonathan Hook has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st July 2021.He will also be joining the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Company. 

Jonathan Hook is 58, has been a partner with PwC for 25 years and is currently global leader of the Engineering & Construction practice. Jonathan is responsible for relationships with many of the leading UK engineering and construction groups with a focus on assurance over financial reporting, control environment and supporting equity fundraisings and major acquisitions. He retires from PwC on 30th June 2021.

Jonathan is a well known and respected figure in the industry speaking at many industry events. He has been a judge for a number of industry awards including the Building Awards and Women in Construction awards.

TClarke Chairman, Iain McCusker, commented,

"I am delighted that Jonathan has agreed to join the TClarke Board. He has a very high profile within the industry and brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable as we strive to achieve our £500m revenue target."

There are no matters to be disclosed in respect of Jonathan's appointment under Listing Rule 9.6.13R.

Peter Maskell has been appointed as Senior Independent Director and Louise Dier becomes Audit Committee Chair.
