Additional Monies Raised

Further to the announcement made on 22 October 2013, Avia Health Informatics PLC, to be renamed Cientifica Plc, is pleased to announce, following additional demand from professional investors, that it has conditionally raised a further £54,000 (gross) through a placing of 2,700,000 new ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") at 2 pence per share (the "Placing").

Together with the £326,000 raised through the placing of 16.3 million shares, also at 2 pence per share, announced on 22 October 2013, the Company has now raised, in aggregate, £380,000 gross of expenses, through the issuance of 19 million new Ordinary Shares at 2 pence per share. The net proceeds of both placings will be applied to potential acquisition due diligence and general working capital requirements.

The Placing is conditional on admission of the New Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for Admission, which is expected to commence on or around 4 November 2013. The New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Cientifica will be an AIM quoted investing company focussing on the acquisition of businesses making use of emerging technologies. The initial target market is applications of graphene technology.

Total voting rights

Following Admission, the Company will have 26,149,023 ordinary shares in issue, with each share carrying voting rights. The Company holds no shares in treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 26,149,023. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they determine if they are required to notify their interest in or a change to their interest in the Company under the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules of the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
