Milestone Group PLC27 January 2005 For Immediate Release 27 January 2005 MILESTONE GROUP PLC RAJAR Wave 4 2004 Audience Figures Milestone Group PLC ("Milestone" or "the Group"), the AIM listed media groupwith controlling interests in four local commercial radio stations, has welcomedtoday's release of new official radio listening figures from Radio JointAudience Research Limited ("RAJAR"). Overall, the RAJAR results show the weekly adult Total Hours listened (for allfour Milestone-controlled stations) at 837,000, up 51,000 from the previousquarter. In Oxford, Milestone's wholly-owned station, Passion 107.9, has registered itsfifth successive increase in audience levels, increasing its total weekly adultaudience reach to 12% (an increase of 100% year-on-year). In Rugby, the Milestone-controlled Rugby FM has achieved its highest everaudience, with a weekly adult reach of 43% and a market share of 20.4% (up from17.8% year-on-year). Both Kick FM (West Berkshire) and Kestrel FM (North Hampshire) also increasedtheir market share on both the quarter and the year. Milestone Chief Executive, Andy Craig, said: "We are delighted that we have managed to increase our market share at all fourof the Group's stations.
