| Temporary Suspension from Trading on AIM and AltX |
The Board of Central Rand Gold Limited announces that it has requested that trading of the ordinary shares of the Company on the AIM Market and AltX be temporarily suspended pending clarification from the Company's auditors of the accounting treatment of the Redstone Convertible Loan in the audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2013.
In the unaudited financial statements released on 16 May 2014, an element of the Redstone Convertible Loan Note was treated as equity. However, on a technical review from the auditors as the audit process was finalised this element has been reclassified as a derivative liability with a consequential impact on the Company's results.
The Board will announce the revised audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2014 as soon as is practicable.
