Collagen Solutions plc (AIM: COS), the developer and manufacturer of biomaterials and regenerative medicines for the enhancement and extension of human life, announces that David Evans, Chairman of the Company, has retired from the Board due to the continued progression of his muscle-wasting condition (sporadic inclusion body-myositis).
As outlined in today's announcement of the Company's Final Results, Chris Brinsmead, currently a non-executive director, will succeed David as Chairman and will be responsible for taking the Company to the next level of its development.
Jamal Rushdy, Chief Executive Officer of Collagen Solutions, commented: "The Board would like to thank David for his invaluable contribution and wish him all the best for the future."
