Director/PDMR Shareholdings
CityFibre (AIM: CITY), a leading designer, builder, owner, and operator of fibre optic infrastructure in UK towns and cities, was informed on 10 October 2016 of the sales of ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Group ("Ordinary Shares") by the following Company Directors:
Gary Mesch, Non-Executive Director, sold 1,080,000 Ordinary Shares on 10 October 2016 at an average price of 60 pence per Ordinary Share;
Greg Mesch, Group Chief Executive and an Executive Director, sold 210,000 Ordinary Shares on 10 October 2016 at an average price of 60 pence per Ordinary Share, and;
Mark Collins, Group Director of Strategy and Public Affairs and an Executive Director, sold 210,000 Ordinary Shares on 10 October 2016 at an average price of 60 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following these transactions, the Directors retain the following beneficial interests in the share capital of the Group:

Greg Mesch and Mark Collins executed their Ordinary Share sales in order to repay personal obligations incurred in relation to the formation of the Group. Gary Mesch is a founding investor in CityFibre dating back to 2011, and remains committed to its long-term growth prospects. The Ordinary Shares sold were placed with existing institutional shareholders.
