Director's dealing - Maturity and sale of deferred shares
The board of Chime announces that on 18 November 2009, Piers Pottinger, Deputy Chairman, received and subsequently sold 27,960 shares granted to him in 2006 under the Chime Communications plc Deferred Share Plan (the "Plan").The shares were existing shares held in the Chime Communications plc Employee Trust (the "Trust").
Piers Pottinger's holding in the company therefore remains at 429,120 (0.6% of the issued share capital of the Company).
The shares were subsequently purchased by the Trust to meet it's obligations under the Chime Communications plc Co-Investment Plan.
The sale was made at the price of 212 pence per share.
The Chime shares referred to above are Chime's ordinary shares of 25p each and the total number of shares in issue is 66,887,603 with each ordinary share carrying the right to vote.
