Board Appointment The Board of Chime is pleased to announce the appointment of Rodger Hughes asSenior Independent Director. Rodger will initially join the Board as aNon-Executive Director on 1 July 2007 before assuming the role of SeniorIndependent Director on 1 October 2007 when current Senior Independent DirectorJulian Seymour steps down. Julian will continue as a Non-Executive Directoruntil the end of the year. Rodger, 58, currently a Senior Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers UK (PWC) bringsa wealth of financial and corporate knowledge to the Board. A member of the PWCManagement Board since 1995 and Managing Partner from 2002 - 2006, he has extensive experience in change management, revenue growth, financial planning,risk management, audit, internal audit and all aspects of good corporategovernance.
