Significant Contract Wins
Clarity, a leading supplier of software solutions for the hospitality, retail, leisure and entertainment sectors, is pleased to announce that the Group's US division has won a significant follow-on contract with a large theme park operator to upgrade Clarity's current installed base to the new generation of ClarityLive software.
The customer's name is withheld for commercial reasons but the value of this contract is approximately £640,000 with delivery scheduled for late 2011. Roll out to parks is scheduled for 2012 to upgrade the current installations to ClarityLive across the theme park operator's estate.
This order follows a recent significant contract win with another prestigious US based theme park, where Clarity will provide its world-leading point of sale technology.
These orders demonstrate Clarity's leading position in the global Amusement Park industry, with Clarity's software being used by eight of the top ten worldwide operators.
The Board notes the above successes in the Entertainment sector where Clarity continues to perform well. Nevertheless other sectors, most notably Retail, continue to exhibit extended lead times as highlighted in our April trading update. Accordingly, the Board will update the market in due course in the light of these trading conditions, in conjunction with the results for the year ended 31 March 2011.
