Disposal of Carrs Fertilisers
The Board of Carr's is pleased to announce that the resolution to approve the disposal of Carrs Fertilisers as detailed in the circular to shareholders dated 20 June 2011 was duly passed at the general meeting today.
Completion of the disposal of Carrs Fertilisers remains conditional on the passing of the Finance (No 3) Bill 2010/2011 without modification from its form on 20 June 2011 or, if modified, in a form which does not result in a tax liability arising.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
