Embargoed for release: 0700 on 17th June 2013 Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or "the Company") Directorate Changes Northern announces that Maurice Eaton has left his position on the Board ofDirectors of Northern Petroleum Plc and various other operating subsidiaries. Maurice joined Northern in July 2007 and subsequently was promoted into therole of Director of Operations in June 2011. During his tenure saw the drillingof La Tosca-1 in Italy and the oil discovery at Markwells Wood. As well asbeing involved in New Business activities, he also controlled the productionoperations of five onshore gas fields in The Netherlands and a programme ofintervention that enhanced the delivery of gas. Keith Bush ( Chief Operating Officer ) will add Maurice's responsibilities tothose he currently holds as he moves into a more senior role on the Board. Maurice's departure is the first of a series of changes to board roles andexecutive responsibilities including the roles of Chairman and ManagingDirector planned during 2013.
