Total Voting Rights and Issued Share Capital
In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Berendsen plc ("Berendsen") notifies the market of the following:
At the date of this announcement, Berendsen's issued share capital consisted of 172,636,913 ordinary shares of 30p each, which are admitted to trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in all circumstances at general meetings of Berendsen. Berendsen does not hold any Treasury Shares.
The total number of voting rights in Berendsen is therefore 172,636,913 and this figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in Berendsen under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
