F&C Private Equity Trust PLC06 June 2007 To: RNS Date: 6 June 2007 From: F&C Private Equity Trust plc Realisation of Co-investment and positive impact on NAV F&C Private Equity Trust plc announces that its co-investment in aerospacecomponents company Global Design Technologies (GDT) has been sold toBridgepoint. The sale, which is subject to certain regulatory and competitionclearances, is expected to complete in August and will result in an investmentmultiple for F&C Private Equity Trust of 4.2x and an IRR of over 100% sincemaking the investment on 29th July 2005. The total proceeds to F&C PrivateEquity Trust are expected to be £10.8m. Including a 10% discount, the positiveeffect on the NAV per B share is 3.5% giving a revised fully diluted NAV of 190pper B share.
