BPC, the oil and gas exploration company with licences in The Bahamas, announces that it has today been notified by Legal & General Assurance Society Limited ("Legal & General") that, following the disposal of 1,500,000 ordinary shares of 0.002p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), Legal & General is now interested in 39,300,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 4.97 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
