The Company was informed on 29 October 2011 that, on 29 October 2011, Dursley Stott, a non executive director of Bahamas Petroleum, acquired 50,000 ordinary shares in the company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 7.3 pence each (the "Acquisition").

Following the Acquisition, Mr. Stott is now interested in 400,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.03 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. In addition, Mr. Stott is interested in 1,500,000 options over Ordinary Shares, as previously disclosed
