BPC, the oil and gas exploration company with licences in The Bahamas, announces that it was notified yesterday by Mike Proffitt, Non-Executive Finance Director of the Company, that his spouse, Virginia Proffitt, purchased 150,000 ordinary shares of 0.002p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares")Ā in the market yesterday at a price of 6.21 pence per Ordinary Share, representing approximately 0.01 per cent. of the Company's entire issued ordinary share capital.

As a result of this transaction, Mike Proffitt is now interested in 12,510,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 1.27 per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share capital of the Company.
