Director's shareholding in the Company
Further to the Company's announcements of 13 January 2012 and 30 July 2012 relating to the pledge of ordinary shares in Avesco ("Shares") by Taya Investment Company Ltd ("Taya") and its subsidiaries, the Company was today notified by Taya of the release on 28 September 2012 of the pledge in respect of the final remaining balance of 1,500,000 of these Shares.
The Company was also notified by Taya of a transfer on 3 October 2012 of 1,500,000 Shares from Taya to Taya Communications Ltd, a 100% controlled subsidiary of Taya.
Taya's, together with its subsidiary's, total holding in the Company, which is registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited, remains in total unchanged at 7,607,878 Shares which represents approximately 29.9% of Avesco's total voting rights.
Ami Giniger, a non-executive director of Avesco, is the Chairman and controlling shareholder of Taya.
