Augean, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, announces that Richard Laker, Group Finance Director, has informed the Board of his intention to leave the Group in order to pursue a new opportunity.
The Board has initiated a recruitment process to identify and appoint a suitable replacement. In line with the appropriate notice period in his contract, Richard will remain with Augean during this time to effect an orderly transition. A further update will be provided in due course.
Jim Meredith, Chairman of Augean, commented:
"The Board would like to thank Richard for his significant contribution to the Group during his time as Finance Director. Richard will continue in his role while a suitable replacement is sought and, whilst we are saddened to see him leave, we wish him well for the next stage of his career."
