AUREUS MINING INC. FILES PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PROPOSED OFFERING OF COMMON SHARES
TORONTO, April 20, 2011- Aureus Mining Inc. ("Aureus Mining" or the "Company") (TSX: AUE)(AIM: AUE) is pleased to announce that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada except Québec, in connection with a proposed offering of the Company's common shares.
The syndicate of underwriters for the offering is led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and GMP Securities L.P.

Aureus Mining is a TSX and AIM listed gold mining company (AUE).
