Arena Leisure PLC05 June 2006 Arena Leisure Plc 5 June 2006 Board Appointment New Non-Executive Director The Board of Arena Leisure Plc ("Arena" or "the Company") is pleased to announcethe appointment of Martin McGann as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of theAudit Committee, with effect from 27 June 2006. Martin, 45, a Chartered Accountant, has an extensive background in property andfinance. He is currently Finance Director of Kandahar Group, a private propertycompany, and from 2002 he was Finance Director at Pillar Property Plc, until itsdisposal to British Land in 2005. Between 2000 and 2002 he was Finance Directorat the Strategic Rail Authority, following on from six years at Railtrack Plc,where for the last two years he was Head of Property Finance. Martin trained asa Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. Mark Elliott, Chief Executive of Arena, said: "I am delighted that Martin has agreed to join the Board of Arena. He brings awealth of experience from his career in industry and property, which will be anextremely valuable addition to the Company."
