Notification of Appointment of Executive Director
The Company announces the appointment of Ms Joyce Sit Meng Poh as an Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.
Ms Sit is President of Laura Ashley (Asia) Pte Ltd, Singapore, and an Executive Director of Laura Ashley Limited.
Ms Sit holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the National University of Singapore, a Diploma in Architecture from the University College of London and a Masters in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has gained several years of architectural experience working in Singapore and also has global real estate investment experience gained in Singapore, the UK and the USA during her role as Vice President of GIC, a top sovereign wealth fund manager.
In accordance with FCA Listing Rule 9.6.13, the Company confirms that there is no information to be disclosed in relation to Ms Sit and that she is not a director of any public listed company and has not held any other directorships in any public listed companies within the last five years.
Ms Sit does not currently have an interest in any of the Company's shares.
