DawMed Systems PLC18 September 2007 For Immediate Release 18 September 2007 DAWMED SYSTEMS PLC ("DawMed" or the "Company") APPOINTMENT OF DAWMED GROUP AS UK DISTRIBUTOR FOR SALES AND SERVICE OF A NEW RANGE OF BENCH TOP STERILISERS The Board of DawMed, the AIM listed medical device company which designs,manufactures, sells and services healthcare decontamination equipment used byNHS Trust hospitals, private hospitals, clinics and Primary Care practitioners,is pleased to announce the Group's appointment as UK Distributor for sales andservice of a new range of bench top sterilisers in the UK under an ExclusiveDistributorship Agreement ("Agreement") between its operating subsidiarycompany, DawMed International Limited ("DMI") and Unident SA ("Unident"). Unident is based in Switzerland and is a wholly owned subsidiary of theinternational French company Laboratoires Anios, a market leader in infectioncontrol through a wide range of disinfection products, including medicaldevices. Under this Agreement Unident will supply its range of six bench topsterilisers comprising Series N, 200S, 200SP, 300B, 300BP and 400B machines toDMI, who will market and sell these medical devices in the UK. Importantly, this Agreement enables DawMed to offer Primary Care practitionerssuch as dentists, GPs, podiatrists, veterinary surgeons and the like a "one stopshop" complete decontamination system, comprising its new range of Unident benchtop sterilisers together with its well established bench top "Clinic"washer-disinfector-dryer.
