Albemarle & Bond Holdings PLC06 January 2005 ALBEMARLE & BOND HOLDINGS PLC "the Company" The Company announces that it has today received notice, pursuant to S.324Companies Act 1985, from Mr. Charles Nicolson, a Director of the Company,relating to the following transactions in Ordinary 4p shares of the Company:-______________________________________________________________________________ Transferred 100,000 Ordinary 4p shares, registered in the name of C L Nicolsonto Pershing Keen Nominees Limited, on Monday 20 December 2004. Following the above transactions Mr. Nicolson's beneficial interest in theCompany's shares remains unchanged at 880,698 Ordinary 4p shares, which isequivalent to 1.91% of the Company's issued share capital. In addition Mr. Nicolson is a director of Albemarle & Bond Trustee Limited, theTrustee of the Albemarle & Bond Pawnbrokers Employee Benefit Trust which holds454,250 Ordinary 4p shares in the Company. Aggregating personal holdings and the holding of the Trustee, Mr. Nicolson is considered to be interested in 1,334,948 Ordinary 4p shares, which is equivalent to 2.89% of the Company's issued share capital.
