Pre-liquidation Dividend

 

As an investment trust, abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust plc (the "Company") is not permitted to retain more than 15 per cent. of its income in any accounting period. In order to meet this condition, and as part of the proposals set out in the circular to shareholders dated 22 September 2023, the Board has resolved to pay a pre-liquidation interim dividend of 2.7 pence per share to reflect a distribution of its current year net income to date. The dividend is expected to be paid on 24 November 2023, following the liquidation of the Company on 8 November 2023, to shareholders on the register on 27 October 2023, with an ex-dividend date of 26 October 2023.
