Cambridge, UK: Abcam plc (AIM: ABC), a global leader in the supply of protein research tools, was notified today that on 8 November 2013, Jeff Iliffe, an Executive Director of the Company, transferred 234,650 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company (Ordinary Shares) to his wife, Keren Williams for nil consideration.

Following these transactions, Mr Iliffe's total beneficial interest in the Company remains unchanged at 274,480 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.14 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company.
