Anglo African Oil & Gas plc ("AAOG" or "the Company")
Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Anglo African Oil & Gas (AIM:AAOG) confirms that further to the Company's announcement of earlier today, a circular containing details of the disposal to Zenith Energy Limited and the capital reorganisation, among other things, together with a Notice of General Meeting (the "Circular"), has today been posted to Shareholders. A copy of the Circular will be available shortly on the Company's website (www.aaog.com).
The General Meeting is to be held at the office of finnCap, 60 New Broad Street, London EC2M 1JJ at 11.00 a.m. on 13 January 2020.
The Company also confirms that AAOG has received £100,000 from Anglo Tunisian Oil & Gas Ltd ("ATOG") in addition to the £50,000 received on 24 December 2019 and the payments totalling approximately £100,000 made by ATOG to certain historical creditors of AAOG. This brings the total of ATOG payments related to AAOG to approximately £250,000.
The Company continues to negotiate with ATOG in relation to the reimbursement of further sums incurred by AAOG in the pursuit of the Tunisian acquisition earlier in 2019.
