Issue of Notes

Anglo American plc (the "Company") announces that its subsidiary, Anglo American Capital plc (the "Issuer"), has priced an issue of US$500,000,000 2.250% Senior Notes due 2028 and US$500,000,000 2.875% Senior Notes due 2031 (the "Notes"). The Notes will be issued by Anglo American Capital plc and guaranteed by Anglo American plc. The offering is expected to settle on 17 March 2021.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes.

It is expected that the Notes will be admitted to the official list of the Financial Conduct Authority and admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
