UBC Media Group PLC15 April 2008 UBC Media ("UBC" or The "Company") Virgin Radio joins Network Drive, signing new advertising sales deal with UBC Media London, April 15, 2008 - UBC Media Group plc (UBC:L) is pleased to announce thatit has signed an agreement with Virgin Radio, which will see the station joinUBC's programme syndication networks for the first time. Beginning on 1 May,the deal is for two years and means UBC will now supply traffic and travel newsto Virgin and will sell airtime on behalf of Virgin within the bulletins This is a significant development for UBC, as it will increase impact deliveryfor the company's advertisers by six per cent; rising from 135,382,000 to143,796,000 impacts. The weekly adult reach across UBC's networks will alsoincrease by 1.5m, or ten percent, to 16.7million. Since pioneering programme syndication as a means of delivering high qualitycontent to commercial radio in 1994, UBC has grown to become the largestindependent network airtime sales point to media agencies via its Network Drive,Sky News Radio Network and Entertainment News syndicated networks. UBC suppliessyndicated services to over 250 commercial radio stations within the UK. John Quinn, Chief Operating Officer of UBC Media said: "We've had a successful working relationship with Virgin for many years now andare really pleased to be moving it to the next level.
