UBC Media Group PLC26 June 2006 26 June 2006 UBC Media Group plc "UBC" or the "Company" Directors' Participation in Placing UBC Media Group plc (UBC:LN) has been informed that conditional upon theExtraordinary General Meeting convened for 19 July 2006 to approve the Placingof 3,000,000 new Ordinary Shares of the Company at 20p per Share ("the Placing")announced today by the Company the following directors of UBC will participatein the Placing. Simon Cole, Chief Executive of UBC, will subscribe for 250,000 new OrdinaryShares of the Company and Jennifer Donald, Finance Director of UBC, willsubscribe for 25,000 new Ordinary Shares of the Company. In addition, a trustof which John Hodson, the Non-Executive Chairman of UBC, is a beneficiary, willsubscribe for 250,000 new Ordinary Shares of the Company. Furthermore, theCompany has been informed that Mr Pascal Grierson, the manager of UBCresponsible for implementation of the Digital Music Downloading Project, willsubscribe for 100,000 new Ordinary Shares of the Company. Simon Cole is currently interested in 20,667,884 Ordinary Shares of UBC,equivalent to 11.82% of the issued share capital of the Company at as 26 June2006.
