PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 4Q 2020
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the fourth quarter of 2020 as follows.
In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 18,782.6 billion (as compared to KRW 16,919.6 billion in 2020.3Q and KRW 16,061.2 billion in 2019.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 11.0% (QoQ 11.0%) and a year-on-year increase of 16.9% (YoY 16.9%).
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 647.0 billion (as compared to KRW 959.0 billion in 2020.3Q and KRW 101.8 billion in 2019.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of -32.5% (QoQ -32.5%) and a year-on-year increase of 535.6% (YoY 535.6%).
