£2m Media & Broadcast Contract win

SCISYS PLC ('SCISYS', the 'Group' or the 'Company'), the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions, web and mobile application development, and support services to the Space, Defence, Media & Broadcast, Government and Commercial sectors, is pleased to announce a contract win with a major UK radio broadcaster. The contract is the next step in implementing dira! as its enterprise-wide radio production and playout system. The contract has a value of circa £2M over a three-year period.

The dira! product being implemented represents the next generation of 'cloud hosted' local radio production and playout infrastructure. Virtualised studios only require the bare minimum of equipment installed locally to produce and broadcast, with the broader services accessed over the wide-area network and the software and data stored and maintained in centralised datacentres.
